Emtrain Intelligence gives admins visibility into key trends across workplace culture, compliance, and risk. However, not every admin will see every page by default. Access is tailored based on your organization's purchased content, your reporting depth, and your user-level permissions.
How is access to Emtrain Intelligence pages determined?
To get started, Admins must first be granted access to the Emtrain Intelligence platform itself. (See Admin User Roles). Once that’s in place, access to specific Emtrain Intelligence pages is controlled by three main factors:
1. Products Purchased: This is based on what content your organization has purchased (e.g. which content pillar), and determines which topics your account can view:
- HR & People Risks
- Business Compliance Risks
- Culture Skills
2. Reporting Access Level: This is based on your purchased level of reporting access, and determines how much detail you can see:
- Summary Only
- Summary + Org-Wide Insights
- Summary + Org-Wide Insights + Segmentation Heatmaps
3. User Permissions (for Risk pages only): Even if your account has access to Risk areas, you must have the appropriate user-level permissions turned on to view them.
How do we know which products our account has purchased?
Your product access is determined by the type of Emtrain package you've purchased. Here's a quick breakdown:

These settings are applied during onboarding and updated as needed when your training package changes.
What happens if I don’t have access to a page?
If you try to visit a page you're not authorized to view, you’ll see a blocker message explaining why. This could be because:
- Your organization hasn’t purchased that module (e.g., Business Compliance Risks)
- Your Reporting Access level doesn’t include full question or segmentation detail
- (For Risk pages) You don’t have the necessary individual user permissions

Which pages are always accessible to everyone?
All Admins with access to overall access to Emtrain Intelligence (via admin permissions in Site Config) will be able to view the:
- Emtrain Intelligence Overview page
- Culture Skills Summary page
- Culture Skills Recommended Content pages
What should I do if I need more access?
