Create a New Campaign
Access the Campaign section from the Manage Tools.
Click the Create New Campaign button.
Start by naming the Campaign. Most other settings are locked until the campaign is named. Once named, it auto-saves as a draft. Without the name, nothing will save if you navigate away.
Campaign Status is automatically set depending on the actions taken within the campaign.
-
- Draft—By default, campaigns are created with a Draft status. They have not yet been deployed.
- Scheduled—Campaign has been deployed, but the start date hasn't yet passed, so assignments have not yet been made.
- Active—Once deployed, a campaign is considered active once the start date passes. Assignments would have already been made and notifications will be sent according to plan.
- Closed—Scheduled campaigns are closed once the End Date has passed. Open campaigns may be closed manually by an Account Admin.
- Withdrawn—Campaigns may be withdrawn manually to remove assignments and halt notifications.
Select the Campaign Type by clicking the drop-down arrow and choosing between Open and Scheduled. The campaign defaults to Open campaigns as the most common. Open campaigns have a set duration and continue to assign as long as they are Active. Scheduled campaigns have a fixed start and end date. They will not continue to assign after the end date passes.
Select the Start Date when the Campaign will begin. To do so, click on the State Date area and a calendar will populate below. Please note, this date cannot be set prior to today’s date.
For a Scheduled Campaign, set the End date that all Users should complete the training by. To do so, click on the End Date area and a calendar will populate below. This date will populate in their Learning Environment as the Due Date.
For an Open Campaign, set the number of calendar days Users should complete the training by. The calculated date (Date User added to the campaign + duration) will populate in their Learning Environment as the Due Date.
Click on the Click to Select Content box to populate the Master Library in order to Select Content.
Master Library
All content available to assign on an account is listed on here. To add content to a campaign, simply click and drag to the Drag Content Here box.
By adding a word into the Search box, content that has a title or description containing the word will be displayed.
By default, content is sorted alphabetically. It can also be sorted by Date Added, when this is selected. To update, click the drop down arrow by the Sort by field and select the preferred option.
Re-order Content
After placing new content in the final open Drag Content box, you may re-order by clicking and dragging. A dark, vertical line will appear when the clicked content will be placed. If you release at this moment, the content will be re-ordered in the campaign content area.

Add Groups
Pre-configured groups can be added to the campaign configuration. More than one group may be added to a campaign when it is in Draft. To add, click the drop down arrow to access a list of groups and click on the group name desired to be connected to the campaign. To remove a group, click on the X next to the group name and the group will return to the picklist.
Assignment Changes
Assignment changes can happen automatically or require approval. Set your preference by selecting the appropriate one from the drop down. For more information about the tool, see the Assignment Approval Tool.
Enforce Sequence
Users will be required to view everything sequentially if the Enforce Sequence feature is activated. By default, this is turned off. To activate, select Yes from the drop down field.
Creating Notifications

Add Notifications

Based on the desired cadence, add a numerical value in the # of days field and set the Scheduling Option by selecting between:
