Important!
- If you need to send a one-off training to someone OR remove a duplicate assignment, download the Common Dynamic Groups document linked above for guidance.
- When tying our a value in a dynamic group rule, text-boxes are case-sensitive and require an exact match. Be sure they match exactly what is listed in your user profiles.
- Editing a Group: If a group is tied to an active campaign, changing any rules could result in assignment changes for your learners (the removal/addition from a group can result in the removal/addition of an assignment). You’ll see a very clear disclaimer if this is the case.
- Deleting a Group: If the group was ever used for a campaign in the past, you will not be able to delete it from your Group List.

How to Know Who is in Each Group
For any group you've created, you can double check who is included by either (1) Previewing your group list, or (2) Sorting the Group column within your User table.
(1) When creating or editing groups, the user interface shows the total number of users in the group along with a “Show List” button that displays a searchable, sortable list of all group members that can also be downloaded as a CSV.
The list always displays columns for First Name, Last Name, Email and Employee ID. In addition, any other user profile fields that are used in the group rules are also displayed as columns. As an example, if a group has the rules Supervisor is True
and US State is CA
, the table also includes columns for Supervisor
and US State
.
(2) With the User table, sort the Group column by selecting the group you'd like to check. The table will load a complete list of all learners in your roster that fall into that group.
