Audio is not automatically enabled but voiceover of the text on cards can easily be turned on. The audio control is available under the User Menu. This Audio Narration Guide details the instructions of how to enable audio on text cards.
Start Audio Narration
Audio narration can be turned on by navigating to the User Menu in the upper right side of the Learning Environment and toggling the Audio option.
Once audio is turned on, the text on each card will automatically be read aloud. As you click the forward or back arrows to navigate through your lessons, the audio narration will continue to read the text. Navigating to a different card while narration is playing will stop the current narration track and start playing the next narration track once the new card loads.
Language Preferences for Audio Narration
Some content has audio narration for a translation, depending on the selected language. If there is audio narration available for the language selected, it will automatically play. If the language preference is set to a language that is either not translated or does not have available audio, then no audio plays.
Pause Audio Narration
Audio narration can manually be paused or resumed using the pause/play icon in the top right corner of the card.
For all Dialog cards, the title and the question will be narrated, but answer options are not read aloud. The results cards are not narrated.
For Special cards such as a video card, policy acknowledgment card or a card with expandable text boxes, the audio narration will automatically pause when a User interacts with it by clicking on the card. When a text box is expanded on a card, the narration on the original card pauses and narration automatically begins on the expanded text box. Please note, Company Policies will not be narrated.
Stop Audio Narration
If a User wishes to end the audio narration, they must navigate to the User Menu and select the Audio option once again to toggle it off.
