Specific Mandates
Continued updating of state and provincial mandates have affected many of our valued partners. We want to ensure you are using the system effectively to keep employees in compliance with new regulations. An overview of the requirements and deadlines is available HERE. You can find an interactive visual guide HERE.
This Guide was created to explain the action items you will need to take and offer some Best Practices to accomplish this. Please consider this Guide a general overview and know that your company may have some unique circumstances which require additional set-up or tracking.
Training Cycles
Our training has been updated to provide training to employees on an annual basis. Our recommendation is to move to a yearly training cycle so that the information is fresh, up-to-date and relevant. We will continue to produce the biennial training (episodic) offering.
- Annual: An every year training cycle
- Biennial: An every 2 years training cycle and onboarding training for new hires

Sample Assignment Message
Dear Employees:
As I’m sure you know, respect is a core value for us. But given our quickly changing social norms and diverse population, it’s fair to say that many of us have different views of what is respectful. Many of us react differently to the same conduct. So respect requires well understood norms and a shared language. Creating a shared organizational understanding of what is or is not respectful takes education and practice. It’s not just a matter of memorizing a policy.
In order to develop well established respect norms, we’re sponsoring the course: Preventing Harassment in the Workplace. It’s about more than workplace harassment; it’s about identifying our common norms for appropriate workplace conduct. The course includes a course timer to satisfy the legal training mandates in several states. But at the end of the day, this course offers far more value than meeting compliance mandates; it helps us create a healthy workplace culture.
Thank you for your support and participation.
Suggested Notification Schedule
Ensure employees complete training in a timely manner in order to meet state requirements. Send periodic Reminders while the training campaign is active and create Past Due notifications which alert employees to the need to complete.
Campaign Deployment & Monitoring
Once the campaign configuration and notifications are ready, you can deploy Campaigns so that learners receive training in a timely manner. Continually review completion reports in order to ensure visibility on incomplete assignments.
