What does the Overview tab show?
The Overview tab is the default landing page in Analytics. It gives a high-level snapshot of your organization’s performance across four key competencies: Respect, Inclusion, Belonging, and Ethics.
- Completed Content: Number of courses and microlessons with enough learner responses to calculate scores over the last 2 years
- Learners Counted: Total number of unique learners whose responses are included over the last 2 years
- Total Responses: Cumulative volume of questions answered over the last 2 years
- Last Response Date: Most recent date of content completion
- View Details: Click this to see which content and learners contributed to the scores
What are Competency Scores?
This section aggregates your Culture Skill scores into percentiles for each Competency. Hover to reveal the contributing Culture Skills and their scores. Percentiles are categorized as:
- Outperforming: 76th–100th percentile
- Performing: 26th–75th percentile
- Underperforming: 0–25th percentile
What is the Executive Summary?
This is a downloadable PowerPoint overview ideal for leadership or stakeholder meetings. It includes:
- Competency Scores
- Culture Skill Scores
- Question Scores for key questions
Clicking the download link opens a new tab where you can export the full summary as a slide deck.
What does the Culture Skill Scores tab show?
The Culture Skills tab gives you a deeper view into the scores that roll up into each Competency. Each Culture Skill is a discrete concept (e.g., “Valuing Diversity”) powered by learner responses to targeted questions.
How can I navigate this page?
- Toggle View: Switch between viewing by Culture Skills or individual Questions
- Filters: Narrow by Competency, Catalog Title, or minimum Learner Count
- Sort: By default, results are sorted in descending order (highest scores first)
- Search: Use keywords to find specific content or concepts
- Tooltips: Hover over score bars or trend lines to see context, benchmarks, and data details
What’s included for each Culture Skill?
- Percentile score for the most recent 365-day window
- Definition describing what the Culture Skill measures
- Related Questions: Click to view which survey items feed into the score
- Trend Graph: Shows changes in performance over time
How do I interpret the Over Time graph?
Each point on the graph reflects a rolling 365-day window of response data. For example: June 12, 2025 includes all responses from June 13, 2024 – June 12, 2025
This lets you observe sustained improvement or decline rather than reacting to short-term fluctuations.
What qualifies a Culture Skill to display a score?
A Culture Skill will only display a score if it includes a) two or more qualifying questions AND b) each question meets minimum response thresholds:
-
- 30+ companies have answered the question
- 50+ learners if your org has under 200 learners
- 100+ learners if your org has 200 or more learners
What does the Question Scores tab show?
This tab allows you to explore responses to individual Likert questions across the org. It’s the most granular view available.
What’s included for each question?
- Full question text
- Associated Culture Skill (if applicable)
- Response distribution across all options (e.g. Strongly Disagree → Strongly Agree)
- % Healthy score based on most recent data
- Over Time graph showing historical trends (see Culture Skills Scores section above)
What does "% Healthy" mean?
“% Healthy” refers to the percentage of respondents who selected one of the three positive responses (e.g., Slightly Agree, Agree, or Strongly Agree).
For negatively worded questions (e.g., “I’ve heard people make negative stereotypical comments”), healthy responses come from employees who disagree (e.g., Slightly Disagree, Disagree, or Strongly Disagree) with the statement. In these cases, a high “% Healthy” still reflects a positive outcome—indicating that few people are observing or experiencing the negative behavior described.
A high healthy score means most employees feel positively about the topic, indicating a strong and constructive workplace culture. Lower scores may point to dissatisfaction, mistrust, or emerging risk areas that warrant closer review.
When is there “Insufficient Data”?
If there’s not enough response volume to calculate a reliable score, bars and line graphs will appear gray and labeled as “Insufficient data.”
What else should I know?
- Filter, search, and sort using the same tools as in the Culture Skills tab
- Hide Questions with Limited Data: Questions with <50% learner response rates are hidden by default to reduce clutter.
